Oh hey guys. Sorry for the total lack of posts over the past few weeks. I promise I'm alive, I just haven't had the time to shoot anything new. Ugh. So here's an outfit I've been saving from last month in a few of my spring go-to's! Paired this amazingly simple, zip back leather mini with an light, grey sweater and denim jacket. Although the leather skirt is high waisted, I played down the sexiness by leaving the sweater untucked. I feel like this makes wearing a tight, leather miniskirt during the day less "are you wearing last nights outfit?" and way more cool-girl. But to be completely honest, I probably wore this skirt the night before.
In case you haven't been following along on instagram...I'm in NYC for fashion week! Been loving the chilly, snowy weather as a quick break from the California sun. (Yes, I realize that makes me sound like a crazy person.) Been running around in this new Nikki Chasin coat. Also, I'm almost 100% positive I've worn a hat everyday, which has proven a bit of a challenge with the wind but all in the name of FASHUN. Will be posting a full travel diary later this week!
As if you NEED an excuse to buy pretty undies and bras...V-Day is the perfect reason. Whether you forward this to your SO or buy yourself something pretty, here are some of my favorites. Pssst lots of black and lace, obvi.

Taking full advantage of bare leg weather here in LA before heading to frozen NYC Sunday. Looking at the weather, I'm a little worried. Snow? Below freezing temps? If I don't make it back...know that I love you all. ANYWAY found this super awesome sweater at Abercrombie. I know, I know. Abercrombie? Trust me. A wool turtleneck on sale for $35 PLUS no more annoying moose logo? Just do it and excuse me while I buy it in the other two color ways.
Oh haaaaay remember when I spent a week in Montreal with Shellys London in November?? (See Montreal travel diary here) The campaign is finally live!!!! I had such an amazing time working with the other bloggers and Shellys London crew so it's super exciting to see the final product. Check out the pics here and watch the video here. Shop Shellys here, here and here!

The perfect lazy sunday outfit? Denim overalls. Yeah I know they're a little over done by now but I understand why now. THEY'RE COMFY AF. Seriously. I could probably sleep in this outfit. Paired the overalls with one of my favorite button ups from Reformation and ankle boots by sixty-seven shoes. Do I look super basic b*tch in overalls about a year late on the trend? Probs. But IDGAF.
The weird, rainy weather this weekend was kind of amazing. Just as I was preparing myself for what began to feel like summer weather...BOOM. It's chilly again. Yesssss. No tank tops & cutoffs just yet. I've been super into wearing button up blouses lately, especially this one with added neck bow detail. They add a dash of chic to an otherwise casual outfit. Paired with ripped knee skinnies, a denim jacket and my trusty suede ankle booties I'm ready for a night out after meetings all day without having to change. Lazy score? 10. Comfort score? A milli.
Annnnd just like that we're well into 2015. Have you been sticking to your health resolutions? I joined Equinox and have been going almost everyday. I'm also proud to say I've been holding up on "drink more water" by always carrying a full water bottle with me. Yeah, I totally have to pee like 12 times a day now but I actually feel better. Plus clear pee is a weirdly awesome feeling, am I right???I've also added this detox tea to my daily routine. I've tried my fair share of detox teas and actually back this one. It doesn't taste like dirt (like others I've tasted) and does the job. Cheers to a productive, fun & healthy 2015!
