The perfect lazy sunday outfit? Denim overalls. Yeah I know they're a little over done by now but I understand why now. THEY'RE COMFY AF. Seriously. I could probably sleep in this outfit. Paired the overalls with one of my favorite button ups from Reformation and ankle boots by sixty-seven shoes. Do I look super basic b*tch in overalls about a year late on the trend? Probs. But IDGAF.
The weird, rainy weather this weekend was kind of amazing. Just as I was preparing myself for what began to feel like summer weather...BOOM. It's chilly again. Yesssss. No tank tops & cutoffs just yet. I've been super into wearing button up blouses lately, especially this one with added neck bow detail. They add a dash of chic to an otherwise casual outfit. Paired with ripped knee skinnies, a denim jacket and my trusty suede ankle booties I'm ready for a night out after meetings all day without having to change. Lazy score? 10. Comfort score? A milli.
Annnnd just like that we're well into 2015. Have you been sticking to your health resolutions? I joined Equinox and have been going almost everyday. I'm also proud to say I've been holding up on "drink more water" by always carrying a full water bottle with me. Yeah, I totally have to pee like 12 times a day now but I actually feel better. Plus clear pee is a weirdly awesome feeling, am I right???I've also added this detox tea to my daily routine. I've tried my fair share of detox teas and actually back this one. It doesn't taste like dirt (like others I've tasted) and does the job. Cheers to a productive, fun & healthy 2015!
I will always choose a pair of destroyed skinny jeans over a skirt anyday but hey, what better time to try new things than the start of a new year?? Loving this little grid mini from top shop paired with a super oversized sweater to balance out the bare legs. Added my bad b*tch boots because I think I'm real tough. New uniform? Maybe not, but I'll def keep this mini-oversized sweater combo going while I can.
So it's a little chilly here in LA and layers are finally appropriate. I've been living in this soft denim jacket by AG Jeans. Here I paired it with this little silky cami, celiné knot bracelet and grey high rise skinnies. Denim and ankle boots are kind of my uniform.
Wow guys, my apologizes for being a total slacker on new outfit posts. The holidays were a nice little break but now...it's ON. Fresh gym membership, more outfit posts, more travel and more fun. Saying goodbye to 2014 with a fun little tee dress and boot combo. Back on black, shocker. Let's do it.
With Christmas right around the corner and quite a bit of shopping left to do, my go-to ootd has become as simple and streamlined as possible. Surprise, surprise because that sounds soooooo weird. Kidding. Well I teamed up with online boutique Seldom Seen to create an easy holiday look. I decided to pair this little Wood Wood sweater dress with the Loeffler Randall "work tote." This bah just happens to be the perfect everyday tote to haul all my usual sh*t, (camera, wallet, sunnies, makeup & other miscellaneous etc etc.) Kept it comfy in the shoe department with my current favorite suede ankle booties. Follow the rest of the SS style series with Alyssa!
Oh, hey guys. It's been a minute. Been super busy the past few weeks and haven't had time to shoot any posts. Here's a quick, simple one from my coffee date with Valentina a few days ago. A little white wall throwback action. Rain brought sweater weather (again) here in LA and I'm taking full advantage and rocking turtlenecks all day everyday. But being that it is southern California...I'll probably be back in a tank top and cutoffs by New Years.
WTF, LA? This weather is all over the place. I tried to commit to sweaters and leather but I'm sick of ending up a sweaty mess by noon. The solution? A little lacey tank under leather. You still look put together if you take off the jacket and bonus points for zero sweat-stained pits. Score. Wear with slim fitting bf jeans and menswear inspired lace ups for cool girl vibes that will literally keep you cool.
