Oh hiiiii from home, day 8! Like most of you, I haven't worn "real" clothes in over a week and I'm feeling pretty damn good about it. Although I'm focusing on eating healthy and doing easy at home youtube workouts...getting dressed ain't happening. I shot a little series in some of my favorite cozy clothes in case you want some inspo for new comfy pieces or just a sense that we're all in this. Let me know what your favorite PJ set is xo
With everyone is at home for self quarantine over the next few weeks what better time than a cozy clothes shopping list? I've been living in my favorite sweat set the past 4 days and thought I'd compile a list of some of my favorite (and wishlist) pieces.
Oh hiiiiiii. It's been a minute few years, lol. Well, with the quarantine and all, what better time to bring the ol' blog back? This time around, I'm going to mix in some of my fun styling work for trend/shopping-focused stories before I force my instagram husband out of retirement. 🤣 First up is this super pop-y spring story Nicholas and I shot in NYC before the holidays. Although my personal closet is still 50 shades of black, I have been venturing out of my comfort zone with colors/prints and I actually like it??! Who have I become?!
2 things. Firstly, hiiiiiiii, it's been forever since I've posted. Secondly, I have dark hair again! Being a bleach blonde LA barbie was fun but it was time to call it quits. Violá! Back to the dark side. It's weird catching a glimpse of my reflection and not recognizing myself for a split second. Also weird that I look more tan with dark hair? What? Anyway here are some photos of my new 'do in case anyone still looks at this site lol. Maybe I'll try to resurrect tha blog...or maybe I just throw this up and go back to not posting for months. At least my site name makes sense again ;)
During the beginning of this month I was in NYC for Who What Wear's fashion week show, which streamed LIVE and was completely shop-able (check it out here in case you missed it.) Editors curated the show's looks revolving around different trends of the moment. I was asked to recreate two looks based on my favorite trends in partnership with Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant. I chose to rework the trends "shirting" + "bold & bright." Click through to see the looks and read about how Secret helped make these looks a breeze.
Jewelry is one thing I only recently got into. I've had my ears pierced since 5th grade but didn't regularly wear earrings until about a year ago. Now I usually have a few pairs that I just leave in. The holidays however, are the best excuse to play with sparkly things I normally would shy away from. Enter, London based Astrid & Miyu. They've created the ultimate line of minimal jewelry at super affordable prices so you can play without a crazy investment. Tons of great options under 50 bucks! I've been really into hoops lately and tried the "Golden Hour Hoops" and they've become my new evening go-to. Minimal and chic with just a little bling bling. I also doubled them up with the "Perfect One" hoops which are the cutest mini hoops, rightfully named. Click through to see how I styled my Astrid & Miyu picks and shop the collection.
Oh hey. Realized I've been sitting on a few looks I shot in NYC a few months ago so here ya go! Denim overalls, silk blouse and my favorite nike AF1's. Easy, breezy and more weather appropriate now then it was in NY september heat. Click through for more pics and outfit details.
I've shopped on Zappos plenty over the past few years because, helloooo fast free shipping and basically the best return policy in the biz, so I jumped at the opportunity to work with them on a Hudson x Zappos collaboration. I picked out the Nico Midrise in "Hardlines" and was super into the wash and fit of these jeans. I'm a denim girl (obviously) so I love trying different brands and fits. These did not disappoint. Although it's still 90 degrees in LA (what??!) I pretended it felt like fall and paired the jeans with a leather jacket, silk blouse and favorite ankle boots. Hopefully it'll cool down enough soon to actually be able to wear this.
If you've been watching my insta stories you'll know I've been in NYC for work the past few weeks. It's actually been feeling like fall the past couple days here!! V excited because not only does that mean sweater weather and pumpkin spice errythang, it means BOOT SEASON. Yes, I pretty much wear boots year round as it is but let me introduce you to my new wool lined favorites. The UGG McKay, part of their "classic street" collection. The same slip on fuzzy comfort of the og UGG boot in an updated, streamlined shape. Scroll through to see how I styled the McKay (in black obvi,) check out Rosie Huntington Whitley in the cute campaign video and shop this look!
