I'm convinced open knit sweaters are THE October essential. It's not quite chilly enough for a leather jacket layer during the day, but t-shirt weather has definetley come and gone. This cozy cardigan by Umgee is great for adding a little warmth in the autumn sunshine. I wore this new perfectly cut tank by Asos underneath with an amazing pair of Res Denim skinnies. These jeans have super bad a** embroidery up the sides and a slightly waxed finish that makes them perfect for day to night looks. Finished off my outfit with a new pair of little ankle booties. On another note, is it seriously already mid-October?!? I'll be packing for my NYC trip before I know it!

Yeah I know summer is officially over but LOOK AT THIS BIKINI. I seriously don't think there is a better black bikini out there. It's all kinds of strappy-sexy, with cut out bands on the bottoms and back, but actually stays in place for those of us that like to...you know...move around and other human stuff. I remember trying on the blue-colorway of this bikini at Brandy Melville in Santa Monica almost a year ago. I had loved the fit so much that I took a pic of the label to remember the brand (that's normal, right??) Huge thank you to Amanda at Mandalynn for hooking me up with my new favorite two piece. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm trying to win the most awkward bikini-posing award.

Sweater weather. Finally. To kick off the weekend I paired my new favorite sweater from sweet little LA brand Umgee with these killer booties by YES. When Solestruck sent over the cutest little Blogger Campaign packet (cat pics included) I replied about 2.3 seconds later. No shame in my email game. Real talk though, these little boots have already become a fall wardrobe staple for me. Oh Autumn, you're my favorite.

This past week Brashy Couture sent over a bunch of bad a** new tees, including my new favorite, the "Babe 1." *insert a million heart eye emojis* I think my on going love affair with Brashy just reached a new high. The simple black tee with rad back graphics was just begging to be paired with an all-black-everything look. Black Koral Los Angeles high rise skinnies and an oldie but goldie pair of Boutique 9 ankle booties keep the focus on the graphic and gives all kinds of "you can't sit with us" vibes. Buy two, give one to your bestie and go run around like the #1 babes that you are. P.S GUYS TAKE NOTE: this is the perfect present for your number 1 babe. *wink wink* You're welcome.

If you follow me on instagram, which obviously you already do, you know how obsessed I've been with this amazeballs leather turband by Cult Gaia. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that this piece has made my life 10439502829 times better. Black leather with a bendable wire inside that allows you to wrap it around your head anyway you want. It's perfect for adding cool-girl vibes to your everyday tee and jeans OR equally bad ass in an all-black-err'thang night look. Bonus points... it's made locally in LA. Buy it now and thank me later.

There are few things I enjoy more than a great new hat and sweater weather. It's finally breezy enough for my favorite striped sweater, hallelujah. I'm always on the hunt for great hats, so when I saw this perfect wool fedora at Forever 21, for all of eighteen dollars, I had to get it. Paired with  basic black leggings, another great Forever 21 find, and my trusty vans make this the perfect comfy outfit for a pre-class Starbucks run. One venti non-fat pumpkin spice latte and I'm ready to conquer my microeconomics class.

I'm convinced I have an addiction to denim. Like, serious crackhead status. While browsing Choies' gazillion pieces for a collaboration, I decided I had to have this oversized denim shirtdress. Like I said, serious. denim. addiction. Although I already have a sleeveless denim dress, I figured I needed something for cooler weather. Viola! Long enough to avoid any unintended flashing's, while still showing some serious leg. It's a heavier weight denim which will break in nicely after a handful of washes. Trying to max out the last of sandal weather...so I kept it simple in my pair of strappy heels. Since the dress is quite oversized, I rolled up the sleeves and left the neck unbuttoned to give some shape...although I do thoroughly enjoy looking like a little boy. Finished it off with a topknot to balance out the "done-up" vibe of the heels. Can't wait to rock this dress over tights in a few weeks.
